I bought this base layer for whitetail hunting and backcountry elk hunting. It is a quality made shirt and performs and fits well. I'm 5'10" 190 and a large fits perfect.
Amazing product. Keeps you warm on those chilly mornings and breathes well once it warms up. True to size fit.
Used this from below 20 degrees to over 60 and it kept me the right temp the whole time. Took it on spot and stalk turkey hunt and couldn’t be happier. Glad I got the boot tip because I don’t like having baselayers bunch up in boots. Weighs next to nothing.
I know most people read these to figure out fit. I’m 5’11” 185 lbs with a bodybuilder frame. Pretty thick up top and through the butt and legs with a 32 waist. I went with a Medium in both the kiln quarter zip as well as the kiln boot top bottoms. again, perfect fit. I plan on using these as my first, next-to-skin base layer, so I wanted a more snug fit. I got exactly that but not overly tight. With my frame, if I was going to wear a different base later and use this as my 2nd base layer, I would get a large. Hope this helps someone.
Did a great job keeping me warm in the cold morning (30 degrees F) and cool in the warm afternoons (50 degrees F). Very soft and stretchy. Didn’t feel constrained at all. Also is very quiet and light.
