Fantastic shirt. I now have a new favorite base layer go to shirt. Since purchasing last season it has been worn on all hunts. Colorado mule deer hunting in November, Nebraska deer hunting in December, and now Colorado elk archery hunting in September. I am very impressed and plan to continue to use this product. Very happy with scent control and sweat wicking. A great addition to my kit.
Awesome shirt for hunting early season!
Went to upsate NY early season, this was a great addition to all my other baselayers. I like the fit and feel and was great around camp as well. Very warm for those cool evenings and morning sits. While on this trip the temps ranged from 38-75 degrees.
The Wick LS Crew is a great piece of gear to wear as a baselayer or even outwear piece depending on your hunt. I wore this and the hoody a ton on my first trip to Utah to hunt early season mule deer. I also, wore this a ton last season during the whitetail season in PA. Great quality and with the merino the piece dries super quick and does not smell. The best thing about all of the First Lite gear I am wearing a M and I am still able to layer all my pieces. I highly recommend the wick series!
Loving this shirt! Great fit, extremely comfortable, and excellent performance. This shirt is incredibly quiet in the field. I would recommend getting a short sleeve as well for really hot days, but couldn't be happier with this shirt.
This shirt has all the qualities of other first lite merino layers: comfortable, insulating, moisture wicking, well made. I got mine in Fusion. It looks awesome. I don’t have a complaint, so much as a qualification. This is still a shirt made out of wool, and I found it to be very warm. I was wearing it on a sunny 70 degree day, fairly humid, and this shirt was just too hot. I had to swap it out for a short sleeve. The fabric on the forearms was pretty tight too, even though I was wearing a XXL. This is still a great piece, though, and I’ll probably wear it for every single hunt with temps under 60 degrees, either on its own, or as a base layer.
If i could sum this shirt up in two word it would be ultra breathable!! From scouting the woods to hanging sets this shirt keeps you cool and protected from the elements! Definitely would recommend this shirt be you first piece you buy from first lite!
This is the perfect balance of function and comfort. Lightweight and breathable while still be dead silent on the move. The 37.5 particle tech is designed to keep you going, even when the going gets tough. Along with the moisture wicking tech that keeps you dry in warmer weather, this long sleeve shirt still has thumb holes for complete functionality no matter what you are hunting. I recommend this product to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and wants to perform at the highest level.
I ordered this as an entry level to test out the first lite line to see if I would be making more purchases. Overall I am pleased with the fit and the moisture wicking abilities that I experienced during ruck hikes for the few weeks that I have had the product. I will interested to know about the long term durability of the product and how well it performs in a layering scenario. Based upon first impressions I will definitely be buying more gear when funding allows.
