Perfect true fit and great material! The Aerowool kept things nice and cool during spring turkey hunting but also was a great layer to wear during deer season this past year. I will for sure be packing these when I head out west this upcoming hunting season!
got a pair of these and aero wool boxers for Christmas from my wife. I have to say I love these. I prefer them over the standard boxer cut. Living in south Florida I’m pretty sure i want to get them for everyday use.
Great comfortable fit. I was worried that those would be too tight around the thighs and ride up but they fit perfectly. The Aerowool is VERY durable and they have .mesh panels on the inner legs where the majority of friction is going to happen. I was also worried about these wearing out after a few extended hikes and preceding washes. Get rid of your cotton undies next to your skin; these manage moisture like a dream and were accaptable as multi-day underwear in the back country (which I would NEVER be able to do with cotton).
I wore these for 4 1/2 days While on a backpack hunt in mid/late October. Temps started off in the high 40’s but quickly plummeted to teens in 12 hours with heavy snow. These underwear were great at wicking away the sweat from my body and really helped to prevent chafing. I am really glad I got them. They are a bit shorter in the thigh than I imagined though. There is a bit of a wedgie that occurs when taking big steps (climbing a steep hill or over deadfall). The fabric feels great, no itching from the wool.
Needed a good underwear/boxer style brief for under all the layers. This boxer brief was just right. Wasn't too snug and was loose enough to allow movement which I need when running and gunning. Also does not hold an odor at all. Probably the most important element outside of comfort right?
