These are just ok. The material and feel is top notch. They are however very short and have a seam going down the butt crack that feels weird and gives you a wedgie. They loosen up the longer they are in your body which makes them ride up a lot. Worst part is I have worn them about 6-7 times and there is already a hole starting in the crotch, so not as durable as I had hoped. I might trying buying the long ones before I give them a hard pass altogether.
I wore these for 4 1/2 days While on a backpack hunt in mid/late October. Temps started off in the high 40’s but quickly plummeted to teens in 12 hours with heavy snow. These underwear were great at wicking away the sweat from my body and really helped to prevent chafing. I am really glad I got them. They are a bit shorter in the thigh than I imagined though. There is a bit of a wedgie that occurs when taking big steps (climbing a steep hill or over deadfall). The fabric feels great, no itching from the wool.
Needed a good underwear/boxer style brief for under all the layers. This boxer brief was just right. Wasn't too snug and was loose enough to allow movement which I need when running and gunning. Also does not hold an odor at all. Probably the most important element outside of comfort right?
So lets start with the positive, the fabric is very comfortable next to skin. The flatseam stitching is not noticeable. However the wedgie is a big negative. The Boxer Briefs are a replacement for Benmore briefs I bought several years ago that are now wearing out. The Benmore fit was superb. The cut of the Boxer Brief is different. Not sure why FL dropped the Benmore as it was a superior design. I bought two pairs of Boxer Brief. Both give me wedgies.
