I own several different types and brands of gloves. These are by far the best feeling, fitting, most comfortable, durable gloves out there. Pair these with a pair of Aerowool liner gloves and you're set for the cold. There shouldn't be a reason you don't own a pair of these!
This glove is a workhorse. I use this for everything. Hunting, hiking, handling firewood around camp. Just a good all around glove.
I really love these gloves they fit very well and they work as advertised.
Very satisfied, cheap for what it is, can't wait to see how the leather goes after a year or two. True to size but pinky fingers are tight.. Normal?!.. Never had that happen before.
Overall great glove!
Didnt last 1 moose/elk hunt in northern British Columbia. stitching let go on the fingers right glove fell apart on day 9 of a 12 day hunt.
These gloves came in use a late for a late November Idaho Elk Hunt. The weather was cold, the winds were whipping, and the snow was falling. These gloves helped out a lot. They are not the warmest you can get, but perfect for layering, and when you need to be able to do tactile stuff with your hands. i highly recommend!
I used throughout the 2020 hunting season. The only time when these gloves were not warm enough was late season Elk hunting. All in all, this is a warm glove for early and mid season.
These are my all around work horse pair of gloves. They are warmer than they should given the minimal insulation but we all know how well Merino behaves and the goatskin leather palms don't wet out very easily and after a few wears they become quite grippy. At first I found them a tad persnickety when grasping my rifle and or tools but that soon graduated into great purchase on anything and everything I touch. Like a good baseball mit it takes a few heaters to break them in.
I'm going into my 5th year with these beauts and they haven't popped a stitch or failed me ever. I have an earlier generation that doesn't have the touchscreen fingertips but I'm confident that is a great addition to an already phenomenal pair of meat hook skins.
My hands stay warm while running the quad but don't sweat when splitting firewood and have the tactile ability to load shells with ease and spin grouse necks for days on end; they really do outperform every other pair of 'work gloves' I've ever used.
Thanks First Lite, no surprise here you crushed it!
To be honest, I was hesitant spending this much money on a pair of gloves. Needless to say I could not be happier with my decision. I wanted something that is thin enough that I could load shotgun shells into my gun and something that would allow me to check my OnX app on my phone without taking my gloves off. I wear a LG and the fit was perfect, so much so that I was even able to turn pages in my book when I was not hunting. Yes I recommend these to anyone who has been searching for the perfect glove. My only hesitation was the lack of windproofing. This last weekend antelope hunting tested this theory, and despite the 10 mile hour winds with snow, my hands stayed warm.
Love these gloves! Provide excellent tactile feeling, good grip, and warmth. Ideal for temps between 30-50 deg F. Touch screen function on thumb and index works well.
