Good quality and fit as I expected from First Lite. I have a small head and it fits plenty snug. Bought it to replace fleece cap - I always prefer wool. This one is lightweight enough to be easily packable, but warm enough for all but sub zero temps. Its already packed and ready to travel west for this hunting season.
It's a beanie..and it's the only one you'll need. It fits snug, keeps you warm and will do excellent mid season through late. It's extremely lightweight, super comfortable, and surprisingly thin. You'll forget you're even wearing it. Bought one in Fusion for late archery and hunter orange for rifle season.
I love all of First Lite's products, but particularly the merino. I didn't think they could beat their earlier merino beanies until I met this one. It is heavy weight, and great for mid to late season hunts. I have an orange one for rifle hunting, and have used it both in snowstorms during October elk hunts in Colorado as well as late-season sits on Tennessee tree stands. Temps down to the single digits. My head was never cold, and even when I was exerting the merino helped wick away the sweat. I am buying another tag cuff in Cypher for cold mornings on September archery elk and medium to late season archery deer in the east. It is a rock star among beanies.
I love it, pretty simple, its a beanie but its very warm. I always take it with me, even for day trips.
Very happy with this. Used this during the WI gun deer season. Light weight and warm, just what you would expect from First Lite. Great Product.
