I was worried about fit as most gloves are small. This glove fits pretty much right on. I have been wearing them ice fishing and they are easy to pull off and on when left unzipped, but snugs up nice when zipped up. They have held up to the on the ice test. Never got cold, can even be a bit too warm at times. Good finger mobility for a heavy glove. I looked at a lot of heavy expensive ski and mountain gloves and all ran small. Glad to finally find a go to winter glove.
Used these gloves so far in a winter snowstorm in Montana. In the teens with 20-30 mph gusts, these gloves kept me warm. They worked out well when I went snowmobiling in Illinois as well. Even when I took my hand out of my gloves to film my kids sledding snd my hands got painfully cold, they warmed back up when I put the glove back on.
This is the glove Ive been wanting for a long time! I had a chance to test this glove out this fall down to windy single digits and man did it perform well. Cold fingers were never an issue once I switched to these nor were wet hands from rain or snow. Keep in mind, I did my fair share of all day sits this year in poor weather. By measurement, I am on the high end of L but I did order the XL instead so I could layer a thin set of shooting gloves underneath. The size up and having the zipper allows me to pull the Aplines off quickly and quietly to run my thumb release.
I’d been trying to get a pair for a while. I ordered size medium and they fit nice and snug. Very comfortable and warm. I like the zipper so you have the option of wearing loose or letting some air circulate. They do get a little wet in melting snow. Was thinking about putting some mink oil or snow seal on them but have to do some research. Would recommend the gloves.
I have been struggling to find a nice pair of cold weather gloves for Whitetail hunting in Pennsylvania and I think I found it. I ordered an L pair since XL was out of stock but I am happy I did. XL fits perfect on all but one finger but that won't make me return the gloves. My hand measurements: circumference 9", width 4", and length 8". Kept me dry and warm on opening weekend, which included 28º and rain. Still a little too large for to actually pull the trigger but I'm convinced that I can't have it all.
Just received these gloves and are incredible! Fit is excellent. I know it may seem like an odd thing to say about gloves, but these are very well thought out. They stay on my hands just fine while unzipped and feel comfortable when zipped. The lining is very warm and comfortable and the extra bit that's included around the wrist to use when pulling the gloves on is brilliant. The zippers work easily in both directions when working it with an already gloved hand. These are easily the best cold weather gloves I've ever owned!
I bought these after a long battle with several other gloves over the past few years. I would buy 50-65 dollar gloves in a variety of styles and insulation types and my hands could always get cold. I hunt in western New York, and some of the past couple seasons, we have had temps in the negative teens and sometimes lower with windchill. I purchased these with the hope that my hands would never be cold again. I have used them on some of the colder days bow hunting so far and they have worked flawlessly. I paired them with a full sanctuary set to stay totally warm on long sits. The fit is true to size, and they are very well constructed. I have big hands, and ordered the XL, which is the typical size that I wear in other gloves. I have long fingers, and these gloves could have a little more length in the fingers for me but they are not different than other gloves of the same size. I will update this review once I really put them to the test during late season and see how they hold up to the coldest of temps.
I purchased these gloves for late season sits. I am very impressed with them. The liners are extremely warm and the gloves are durable enough to stand up to some abuse. They fit and feel great!
Super warm and comfortable. 7 days at 8-9k feet and lows in the single digits. These gloves did the job.
Perfect glove for long sits in the stand. The sizing is perfect for that just snug fit to keep your hands toasty with out getting sweaty and cold. You don't need a liner glove for these. You certainly could add one but I would size up in order to do that. The functionality of the glove is great giving it the ability to zip up for that snugger warmth or just keep them loose and still get the benefit.
