Works great as a top layer in the early season and great as part of a base layer system when it gets cold.
This Henley is great to layer over a base layer for extra warmth. Snaps allow you to loosen the shirt around your neck for ventilation. Very warm but light weight. Love the thumb holes for keeping hands warm
Very comfortable and soft. Feels more durable than the Fuse base but that's probably just because it's so much thicker. The cut is mildly larger than the lighter base layers. I believe so you can layer over then. Still a great fit though even if you don't wear them up under it.
Wore it to work the other night and was fine inside for an extended amount of time and then plenty warm when out in the Wisconsin winter for some time. Breathes very well even under my kevlar when inside and out. Sleeves are plenty long and overall fits perfectly.
Ive wore ulfrotte - UA 5.0 treestand baselayers and these are way more comfortable and are very warm- i wore them on a 24 degree morning sitting still with less on than normal and i was impressed! 5’11’’ 175lb and the med was perfect
Got this along with match pants for son in law for Christmas for him to test out before I spend the money on a set for myself, he has already gone out and said hands down the best base layer ever!! Material is great quality and fit exactly to his size. I look forwarded to looking at other merchandise to add to his collection and start mine as well.
I bought both the furnace Henley as well as long John’s. They fit exactly as expected. I’m 6’4” 240lbs and both are awesome! I hunt mostly NE Alabama tree stand hunting for Whitetails! I layer them with other pieces and they keep me very warm down to 25 so far. I’ll re visit this when I hunt colder. Also I plan to buy the sanctuary set and unsure on pant shirt combo at this time! But can’t say enough about how much I love the base layers!
Regulates my body temperature really well. I've been wearing it over the top of lightweight base layer and a light jacket over the Furnace Henley in temps from mid 20's to mid 30's chasing chukar in Idaho. I dont overheat and I haven't chilled down when I stop. Its very comfortable, so much so I never want to take it off. My wife also loves it and if I don't get her one I'll never see this one again. I normally wear large for my shirts but based on reviews I ordered a medium and it fits perfect. I'm 5'9" 170lbs.
Fit perfectly and very comfortable. I wore it first in 41 degree windy and humid Tennessee deer hunt. I stayed warm and comfortable wearing the fuse Henley and this furnace Henley. I will be purchasing more clothing in the near future .
If you take your layering seriously, you will love this garmet! Perfect by itself or over a tshirt or under a pull over. Soft, comfy, I can't say enough. This has become the centerpiece of my hunt gear.
