I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PRODUCT OUT OF THE BOX. GREAT OVERALL DESIGN AND QUALITY AS TYPICAL OF FIRST LITE. HOWEVER THIS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MY FACIAL STRUCTURE AND TRADITIONAL ARCHERY GEAR. I AM GET SIGNIFICANT BRIM STRING CONTACT WHEN SHOOTING. I AM A SLENDER GUY SO IT COULD JUST BE MY BODY TYPE, BUT FOR ME THE BRIM IS FAR TOO LARGE AND NOT CANNOT BE SHAPED. CONTACTED FIRST LITE CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO TOLD ME TO ROTATE THE BRIM OUR OF THE WAY BEFORE BEFORE I SHOOT. NO THANKS. CERTAINLY DON'T NEED ANOTHER STEP BETWEEN ME AND A SHOT. OVERALL GREAT PRODUCT, BUT NOT FOR ME.
This is a great all-around hat for cool and cold-weather hunting. Whether sitting still or moving about, the merino wool keeps you warm and dry. I had been searching for a warm hat that could keep the sun out of my eyes and this hat performs the job well. No more stretching a beanie over a ball cap. I ordered both a medium and a large to make sure that I found the correct fit. I normally wear a 7 1/4 fitted hat, and the large version fits well and has enough material to cover my ears.
Warm, comfortable, functional and stylish. Enough said.
Nice and warm and the brim makes it nice
I used my brimmed beanie for Turkey season and was glad I did. Opening day started with deep fog and 6 inches of fresh snow that kept falling until a strong wind blew it all out to a sunny view of rocky mountains and talkative Turkey. My beanie kept me dry and warm and concealed. Great equipment for beautiful days in the back country.
