I was looking for some new gear for up coming season and stumbled upon first lite.. I really like everything about this hoodie especially the camo pattern.. so when it arrived I was not disappointed it fits great, super comfortable. I can’t wait to wear it in the upcoming hunting season in western PA.. looking forward to buying more of their gear!
Right out of the box it's obvious this isn't your average fleece. Great fit and feel. As mentioned, the sleeves are a touch longer than expected but glad they are. With articulation it will ensure no unwanted draft entering at the cuff. Really looking forward to trying this in the saddle this season. One of my first few pieces from First Lite and I'm very impressed!
Hoody fits well, really like the longer back to keep cool air out. A few reviews say sleeves are too long, actually fit me well and the last thing I want is sleeves too short. Plan to use in early season and layer later. Quality seems good.
just received my klamath hoody today.im just starting to build my first lite kit but this is by far my favorite piece.i ordered it in black to layer during whitetail season and as an outer layer for turkey season in the blind.fit is good around the torso and I love the full zip hood.only complaint is that the sleeves are a touch long which isn't a deal breaker but I think offering a XL tall would be great for guys like me who order XXL for the added sleeve length more than the extra belly room, still a great piece that will be used alot.
Own two of these. Fit is good but I finally ordered up a size to fit a little looser around the torso. I wear a large in everything else I own (Stormlight, Stormtight, Uncompahgre, Aerowool T) from Firstlite.
Ordered a large but found the fit to be a little too snug around the middle than I like , sleeves and body length were otherwise great in the large. My wife got the large (fits her looser for outerwear and she absolutely loves it), I ordered XL and am very happy with the fit.
Fits perfectly. Too warm to say how warm it will be but looking forward to getting it out in the public land hunts.
Just received this hoodie within a couple of days of ordering and the fit is perfect. It is still to warm to wear it but as soon as it cools off I will be testing it in the field. It is made well and I like the overall fit, It is very comfortable and has a well thought out functional design.
Just received this hoodie but the fit is perfect for me and know I will wear it on every hunt once the temps cool down. Nice construction and like how the hood comes up to your chin when zipped. Can use as an outer layer or insulation once it gets chilly.
So, it’s not ideal hoodie weather right now in Michigan
But a few mornings have been in the 50° range and the Klamath has been real nice first thing in the am
I can see this product being a killer early season waterfowl and October deer outer layer. Then be transitioned into a mid layer during November December time
This is a great hoody, I bought it in the spring for turkeys and have no complaints. I also plan to use it in the stand for whitetails this year. I layered with the Fuse underneath of it and I was good to about 45°. For those who are wondering this is not as warm as the Furnace. The material is very stretchy and allows you to layer underneath of it. I can’t wait to put together the rest of my First Lite kit!
