With archery buck seasons starting in late August in Oregon my kit is basically the same for cautious bucks and rutting bulls. I plan for cool mornings/evenings mixed in with some hot afternoons. I start with our Mountain Athlete Triad Socks and our Wick Long Boxer Briefs, great pieces for pulling moisture away from my body. For my lower half I run our Corrugate Guide Pant, these are tough as heck, but cool in the warmer weather. I like to wear long sleeves for concealment, so my upper half starts with our lightest merino top: the Men’s Wick Quarter Zip in 150gsm AeroWool. I’ll also pack a Sawtooth Hybrid jacket in case it gets chilly on an evening. Lastly, I really like our Guide Lite Gloves, a AeroWool Neck Gaiter, and FL trucker hat for added concealment and protection.
