In terms of comfort and warmth, this is basically a high quality fleece. But unlike fleece, it does not get stinky the first time you sweat in it. This shirt has replaced my various sweaters, sweatshirts, and fleeces. Fit: my perfect size is usually Large-Tall. At 6'3" and 220 lbs,, the XL torso is baggier than I like but it's acceptable. Torso length is great, as are sleeve length and fit.
This is the perfect heavyweight base layer. I use this from September through the late season and love it. Warm, comfortable, and durable. From the Oregon mountains to the Virginia woods and Pennsylvania farm fields to the Arizona desert this has been my go to.
I love this henley so much I bought a black one to wear out and about. As a whitetail hunter I'm paranoid about sent so most of my gear never sees non hunting situations. I wanted this sweater to be a staple in my wardrobe. It is very warm for its size and so comfortable I recommend everyone buy 2, one for hunting one for day to day life.
Such an unstoppable feeling to have these base layers on in the late season
Love it, warm, comfortable. There is not much to say other than you will not regret buying this. Definitely worth the price!
I’ve been wanting one of these henleys since I heard they came out. I’m very glad I got one. Fleeced merino wool feels similar to your favorite sweatshirt, only much better. I’ve been wearing mine on every hunt since it arrived. The gray looks perfect even when dressed casual.
I was very hesitant to spend this kind of money on a set of long johns but after buying I am so glad i did. This thing is so incredibly comfortable and very warm, way better than the walmart sets I used in the past.
I just received the Furnace Henley last week and I'm totally in love with this piece for cool to cold weather layering. I've been wearing it as a casual top too. Like my Kiln hoody, I do find it a touch on the big side for sizing. I'm 5'10 and 170lbs and the medium is roomy enough to layer underneath if desired. I've washed the top a few times and so far so good. I will be adding another to my lineup.
Furnace henley is the ideal hunting heavyweight layer. Super warm, as well as comfortable. Was wearing while doing yard work today with just a t-shirt underneath in 39degree weather and was pefectly comfortable. Wearing on a whitetail hunt tomorrow morning and already know it is going to perform great. I got this as a warmer alternative to the grid hoodie. While I find the grid hoodie to be very versatile, it wasn't quite cutting on its own with a base layer on those super frigid days in the stand. Paired with the Solitude Jacket and Bib. Looking forward to a warmer sit tomorrow thanks to my FirstLite Furnace henley.
