To help those with sizing - I’m 5’8” and weigh 150 pounds, generally wear 30/30 pants, the smalls fit great. They would probably be good for those with up to 32-33 inch waists as well. Elastic around the waist is a nice touch, they are a tiny bit long but with boots on they’re fine so if you’re a few inches taller they’d be fine. Lots of room in the lower legs, make for good and comfortable when squatting. For my smaller waist size I’m pretty thicc around the butt and thighs, which chicks dig, but has made buying pants in the past difficult. Slim fits won’t fi BnB t my ginormous and powerful thighs with the right waist size, and regular fits aren’t quite right either. In my small first lite obsidian pants, even high profile fashion designer Ralph Lauren himself would be blown away with how well these fit and complement my chiseled lower body physique, yet the question is whether or not he would even be able to see me due to blending in so well thanks to the Fusion camo pattern. A+ rating.
The only thing is I wish these pants were like the others where i could order them in my specific size, not medium or large. Other than that very happy!
If you're looking for a pant for sneaking around the forest and staying silent these are the pants you're looking for. Plenty of pockets, and usable ones too. If it's wet out, these absorb a bit of moisture but also dry up super quick. Used them on a moose hunt in the Yukon last year, they made for a great pant around camp and when it warmed up during the day. Pretty easy to use under a shell. They will show wear quicker than some other pants, but that may make them even more quiet, if that's possible.
Not sure how it's done but I've been comfortable from 45-85 degrees with just these pants. Other reviews I read before purchasing made them sound delicate but they are more durable than expected. I wouldn't walk through a thorn patch but I generally try to avoid sharp objects in the woods regardless of my clothing selection and these have done great without much, if any, extra care or attention to the terrain I walk through.
Breathable, plenty of flex and movement, and the fit is very nice; they don't feel constrictive at all, but also don't feel huge and baggy like a lot of hunting pants. They also just feel like durable, quality pants that will hold up over the seasons. Really great product!
