Perfect for spot and stalk and moving through the woods

Bought the beanie as part of my first set of gear and i was blwon away by how corftable it was, and yes its seams really small but once your wearing it around walking and even siting its great. Actually had to take it off at camp around the fire cuz my head was to warm. Did a blacktail packout with it one and a headlamp and it didn't seam bulky or in the way. Keep it up guys. Temps i was in was 30 to 45 degrees in Washington wet weather.

Good beanie!

This thing is warm for its weight. I love it! People with a bigger head may not like it as it is a tad small. For reference, in a fitted hat I wear around 7-1/4 to 7-1/2.

Hats off

Great beanie. Keeps my bald head toasty.

Really tight, not very warm

It’s a well made beanie, and, as always, the merino is top notch. But, it is really small and thin. As tight as it is, there is little warmth or comfort. My 16 month old son wears the beanie. His head circumference is in the 34th percentile.

Lightweight wimpy beanie

I love you First Lite, I really do. But you guys gotta stop screwing around and make a real beanie. There’s nothing warm about this flimsy little thing.
Rated at below 20F and 20-45F? Don't you believe it. I’d barely give this the 45-60F rating. It’s okay for active hunting, but for static hunting you’ll wish you had 2 of them layered.
And as almost every other reviewer has stated, it’s small. Lengthwise and diameter.

The best thing about it is that it’s not over-branded like all the other First Lite gear. Branding is only on that little tag (which you can cut off).
