The SEAK system is the answer when precipitation is not a vague possibility but a continuous reality. Created with feedback from Pacific bear and blacktail guides and inspired by commercial fishing dry suits, the SEAK pants are built for all-day hunts in constant rain and are designed to be worn alone as your primary pants or as an outer layer, over insulating base layers. The 3.5 layer construction utilizes a highly breathable 37.5 laminate to evacuate humidity created by the body while keeping out exterior moisture, keeping you comfortable on the move. The pants boast full zip legs making getting them on or off a cinch and a unique design puts suspenders off your back and out from under your pack. Roll-top dry pockets keep gadgets safe from the elements. Unlike many "just-in-case" rain layers, an articulated cut and impressive breathability means you can comfortably hike and hunt in the SEAK system all day long, making these pants the answer for hunters operating in the wettest climates.

Amazing pants. Scrap the Velcro

These pants are amazing. My only issue with them being that the Velcro fasteners on the pockets. Hunting in ultra quiet no wind white tail stands, try getting these pockets open without bumping the whole area. Suggest a magnetic fastener system or a quiet snap like Sitka uses. Great piece otherwise.

Updated review

Returned my size large for an xl. I shipped them back with a local shipping company and that slowed the process. However, after about two weeks I still didnt receive my exchange so I emailed and was told the product was recieved. I still didnt receive any shipping info on my exchange. I then called and the guy placed my order immediately and I recieved my pants two days later!
Now for the fit. The larges were too tight. Almost uncomfortable on their own. I recieved the large and they're a bit loose in the waist. So no middle ground. I think two very big improvements to these pants would be a waist adjustment system such as a cinch belt or even more velcro on the hips where the leg zippers are. Also, as stated in my first review I think tall sizes would really compliment these pants. For 330+ dollars an excellent fit would be nice.

Tough as Nails

I've worn these several times, but the biggest test was a recent hunt in the bogs of Newfoundland..we had constant rain, temps in 40's and 50's and high winds. I can honestly say that when combining these with the right insulation and the brambler gaiters, I was dry and comfortable the entire time..absolutely the best water repelling, breathable, brush-bustin take no prisoners rain pants on the market.

Awesome pants!

Bought the Seak suit for moose hunting in Western Newfoundland, Canada. My first time wearing the gear was after a couple days of solid ran making the highland bogs we hunt very wet and damp. After a couple mile hike and sitting in the wet tuck & bog calling for the better part of a day I was surprised that absolutely no water seeped through my gear. I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this gear to anyone looking to battle the elements. I typically wear a size 32 waist pant (32x32). I found the fit of the pants to be a little snug for me and consider myself to be in good shape. I am 5' 10.5", 175lbs and ordered a medium in both the jacket and pants. The jacket fits perfect. The pants I found to fit a little snug but do not let that deter you from ordering these. They are well built, extremely waterproof, easy to get on/off and I really like how the suspenders fit and keep them in place. They also fit perfect over my size 11 Muck boots. You will not regret this purchase but it may be worth while to go a size up. Great gear First Lite!

The Most Amazing Pants EVER!

Firstly I don’t review products. EVER. I just don’t want to spend the time to write a post - so me doing this is a big deal.

I bought my husband the Seak Storm Pant and matching Seak Jacket for hunting. We live in Canada so the price with exchange was steep on this set (upwards of $750+ CAN). My husband is 5’9” muscular build. Size 34 waist. We ordered size Medium in both but the pants were too small so we had to exchange (was a big pain in the butt as FedEx made some mistakes). This company is amazing! Not only were they patient, they kept me updated on the exchange process every step of the way. the Large pair of Seak pants fit wonderful.

We have used them multiple times and then the inevitable happened - we got a deer! CUE Wife freak out at blood everywhere all over the pants - OCD wife cries at the thought of spending $350 on pants and they are stained within 1 month (of course my husband doesn’t care). But OMG 1 wash and everything came out and they look brand new. This is the best set of hunting gear we’ve ever boughten, great fabric, washes well and keeps him dry and warm in the Pacific North west (British Columbia)! This is a must buy set! Great customer service and company! 5 stars
