The All New Women's Obsidian
Building on the success of our most popular men's pant, the women's Obsidian merino pant delivers odor-resistant comfort to the dedicated female hunter facing a wide range of temperatures and conditions. The Obsidian's ergonomic design and proprietary, stretch merino/nylon fabric work in conjunction to move and flex with the body and provide maximum durability, all while preserving the qualities you love about merino. Reinforced with rip-stop nylon, this woven merino pant has no UV signature or shine and fends off odor-causing bacteria better than any synthetic. Stretch nylon panels also enhance range-of-motion and provide durability and support in high-stress areas. From September heat to December snows, these features make the Obsidian a superior choice for a wide range of stationery and active hunting applications.Shop Now
I participate in precision rifle matches and wanted some pants to wear during warm humid weather we have in the northeast. I was concerned that these pants might lack the durability needed to survive the constant kneeling, crawling, and movement that the sport entails. But so far after a handful of matches, they have been great. They are extremely light and comfortable in the heat, and flexible enough to not impede movement. I will definitely be picking up a few more very soon.
This thing is going to be a key piece of gear this fall in the whitetail woods. Works great as both an outer layer or as a layering piece and I plan to use it as both. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for high quality hunting clothing. I definitely plan on buying more first lite gear before the season gets here.
The Brooks Vest has been an essential piece of gear added to my collection. Perfect for the core insulation piece and even great as an outer layer. The Brooks vest provides the right amount of insulation and overage needed to stay warm yet breath. Highly recommend this vest for those wanting a great piece for backcountry hunting.
I needed some time to get an accurate review in order, and I feel that time has come. I have been wearing the same pair of corrugate guide pants for the past 7 months on the job along with my days off. I work outside doing grounds maintenance in Western Oregon. Everything from running tractors, mowers, string trimmers,to meetings. I put these on in Oct. and just took them off the end of June. I can honestly say these are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn.I was a bit skeptical when they arrived, as they didn't seem that they would be durable? Yes they are extremely durable! The only wear and tear I have noticed is a bit of faded color , which is reasonable after the amount of washings they have been through in seven months. There is a bit of pilling on the thighs, other than that no other issues. Which I find more than reasonable! I believe in these pants so much I purchased 3 more pair in solids and 1 in camo. Now, the newest pair seem to be cut a tad larger than the first pair I got. I know it's not because of weight loss...maybe the washings and drying? The last thing I want to say about these remarkable pants is that they stay up! Unlike some of the reviews I have read, I don't have an athletic build. I was a former athlete but am shaped more like a pear...Narrow in the shoulders and wide in the hips! So finding a pair of pants that look good, perform, and stay where they should is a winning lottery ticket in my book! I recommend these pants more than I can write! Great job by the folks at first lite!!
Last season I found myself out in December in the brutal cold of New York after a snow storm and realized how badly I needed new gear. After a long search I finally landed on this jacket, unfortunately it was out of stock in my size so had to wait all the way to June to finally get my hands on it but it was absolutely worth the wait. Took it out of the box and it feels so lightweight and isn't bulky at all. I put it on along with the bibs and was immediately sweating inside my apartment. Obviously getting them in June I'll have to wait to give you a review of how they stand up to the elements but so far they have far exceeded my expectations. Very lightweight, real quiet fabric, and I can only imagine my layering when wearing this bad boy will be minimal even late in the New York season
I love this puffy. My #1 go to jacket. Incredibly warm and comfortable also packable. I also find this jacket very versatile in different weather situations when Montana likes to throw curve balls. Thanks First Lite for supporting us troops. Will continue to buy your gear.
