This jacket is awesome, I've been looking for a waterproof jacket for late season. This is great! Compacts small but offers some serious durability and options. I would highly recommend. Sizing is great and could still get a lighter puffy vest or jacket underneath if temps were really plummeting. Also it's pretty dang quiet as when compared to other rain gear. I'm 6 ft 210 and fit is spot on!!!! Great piece of gear!!!!
The pants fit great and are also true to size with my corrugate foundry's and catalyst foundry pants. They are an athletic fit, which I love. The hip vents and inner thigh vents are killer. They operate smoothly and really allow great airflow on an already breathable pant. I have no doubts that this pant will be more durable than any other hot weather gear on the market and I have owned them all from the big names. First Lite really gave us in the south in the hot and humid environments what we've needed for so long. These will be my new go to pant for 60 degrees and above.
Silent, breathable, and conventional! The hood is snug to a hat, loose on the head, and the mask is very breathable. Thumb loops are open and ergonomically fitting to the hand, no hot spots. The zippers are flush and silent. Overall I love it. I pair it with my short sleeve merino wool shirt [and] my sweat wicks away completely!
Took this gear to the backcountry of Algonquin park in Ontario for 6 days. Crazy rain and slogging portages and remained dry. To be able to sweat like crazy in this and still stay dry was incredible.
