Hat fits well. Bill is short which works well for archery hunters. Hat can be packed away in your pack and taken back out to wear without trashing your favorite ball cap. This thing is always in my backpack.

Its a great hat made with really nice breathable material that you can pack anywhere without worrying about destroying it, but it has one problem. It runs small, and the rear strap for tightening and loosening it is worthless because the hat itself doesn't loosen beyond the standard fit. Thankfully its just a touch snug on me, but if my head were any bigger it wouldn't work. If i loosen the strap, the strap is loose, but the hat still fits tight around my head. It doesn't really expand even thought the strap has been expanded.

The material just needs a touch more stretch to it, so if it is a snug fit its still comfortable.

I got this cause my survival instructor back in the military drilled into our heads that you never take cotton outdoors. Like one of the other reviewers stated, the bill doesn't really bend, so it stays a little flat. I was also using this in the 55-65F temperature range, and it can get hot when you're hiking. I found that I was removing it on all of my climbs. I think that I'll make a bunch of slits in the side panels, like the Nike golf stuff. Other than that it's pretty comfortable!

Fits nicely. For those of us with short hair, it’s snug and that’s great. The shorter brim is wonderful for pulling back the bow and not getting in the way. I’m curious what the brim is made out of as it seems flimsier than most other hat brims.

Overall, I’d recommend the hat.

This hat is ok, the brim is a bit flimsy and generally stays like a flat brim. If you prefer baseball cap style, don't go with this one.

I took this thing out on a few antelope hunts early in the season where the temps were in the mid to high eighties. My head did get a little warm while I was hiking and that's when I realized how much I love this hat. I took it off and carried it in my hand for about a minute and then put it back on. Evaporative cooling must have kicked in because when I put it back on my head, it felt like I had dipped it in an ice cold creek. I'll definitely have this out with me from now on during early season hunts.

If you are looking for a hat that is comfortable and is out of the way for bow hunting this is the hat!

Best hat ever is not an overstatement. I perspire profusely from the ol’ noggin and usually my hats are soaked sweat stained travesties that get ruined quick. However, this has was used during a scout trip in the middle of August in northern Arizona. So monsoons, humidity and heat. I was in complete awe when after several hours of hiking over several hundred feet of elevation gain and a couple of miles I pulled off this hat and it was bone dry except the sweat band. I couldn’t believe it. Insane vapor permeability. This allowed me to comfortably shade my eyes and face from the sun without feeling the usual discomfort of a sweaty hat on my head. Highly recommended!

I bought this hoping it would be a snugger fit but the hat fit bigger than expected. Colors also aren’t what is advertised. The orange stitching was on the fluorescent pinkish side and the overall fabric seemed to be a bit yellow. Otherwise happy with material and texture

I wear this hat anytime I'm going do a high output activity, but it is primarily the hat i wear while bowhunting as the brim is a tad shorter than standard truckers and ball caps. This makes it possible to shoot with my regular form while still wearing my hat forward and shading my eyes. Super lightweight. More breathable than any other full cap but not as breathable as a mesh trucker. However, the band is way more comfortable and functional than a trucker hat band.

I have been wearing hats almost non stop for the last 20 years and have become increasingly particular about what goes on my head. For the last 2 years it has almost exclusively been the first lite 5 panel tech hat. I lost my first on a jetski. Cursed for 20 min and vowed to never do that again. Before I was back at the dock I had ordered another. Breathability on this hat is second to none. Wear it in the water and it dries in minutes. Sits perfect on the crown. The bill doesn’t have memory so you cannot mess it up. Strap never comes loose or digs in. No ball on the top to destroy your head like the Death Star. If you like hats you’ll love this one. Do your self a favor and just buy 2 now. You’ll thank your self later.

The hat fits great and drys fast when wet but my only complaint is the brim. It doesn't hold shape very well. At the end of the day I would buy this hat again.

This is the best hat on the market hands down. It drys extremely quickly after a downpour and is very breathable. No ear irritation that you get from wearing the mesh hats for days on end. If you're looking to get away from the mesh trucker hat that everyone a their sister sells then this is the hat for you. The hat strap is awesome compared to plastic crappy push style. Some people say that hat looks dorky when you wear it but I really appreciate the way it looks. The bill is relatively flat but not in a "bro" type way. It looks like a hat your grandpa wore hunting and I mean that in the best way possible.

Would be 5 stars but for the fact that the instructions do no allow for tossing it in the washing machine-- spot clean only. It is so well made, so perfectly designed. My new favorite hat!

This hat kind of surprised me when it arrived in the mail last year. It is not really very structured, so you can literally roll it up and put it in your pack. Very comfortable.

I got mine in Fusion and I love it. Does a great job of keep your head cool and warm depending on the conditions outside.
I go to the gym in it as does a better job of moderating temp than my UA cap does. The sizing strap on the back is much more preferable than a snap back and the cap comes with a slit in the fabric of the back of the cap to seamlessly hide the excess strap.
Easy to fold the cap as well to slip into a pocket. FL did a great job on this.

Great 5 panel tech hat. Extremely comfortable for any use. I bought a 2nd one right after I got the first. Looking forward to using them for scouting/hunting spring turkey and for the next 3D archery target season.

Solid 5 panel hat. I love that the fusion matches the rest of my gear. I wish the brim was made of a different material, because it can’t be shaped or curved. Brim stay very flat always.

I bought this hat from Cabela’s because it was only $10 and after receiving it in the mail I realized this was a poor decision. The bill is crooked at can’t be bent to any shape other than the silly bent shape it case with. I wouldn’t take it even if it was offered for free. It is comfortable, if you don’t mind looking like a complete doofus.

Hopefully this review goes through, because I have a feeling First Lite curates their reviews. If that’s the case, I’ll definitely be checking out Sitka and Kuiu for future outdoor gear.

This hat is comfortable and the material seems durable. My only gripe is that the brim is soft and can't hold shape. It wants to flatten out. For this reason I prefer the lo pro hat.

Low profile hat perfect for long days in the sun. Will keep you shaded from the sun but is extremely breathable. Great fitting hat and blends in perfectly on the camo set.

The material is great and it fits well. The bill is very flexible and great for folding up for storing in a pack or a pocket. My one very minor complaint is the bill is flatter than I prefer but the bill is too flexible to easily form a permanent curve into. It's a very reasonable trade-off for being so easily packable.

This hat is light weight, super comfortable, great style, excellent materials, and excellent fit. I recommend it it highly.
