turkey thug
This is not my original idea or secret, but I grew weary of hunting spring turkey when it rained and my box call paddle get a spot of water on it and killing the ability to use the box. Use fiddle or violin bow rosin on the paddle instead of the chalk, I find the rosin also gives the box a sharper more raspy sound.
