Time to dust off the bow or shotgun, start shopping for tags and put a little practice in on the gobbler calls--Turkey season is right around the corner!  Find out when your season starts right here, thanks to our friends at the Wild Turkey Federation.

And don't forget some downright nasty turkey porn to set the mood and get some excitement back into your passion for the gobbler.  Our friends over at Cabelas have a nice selection of videos that are actually fine viewing for the whole family.  I own a couple of editions of Long Beard Madness myself and enjoy a good viewing this time of year to get the blood pumping and my better half complaining.

Most importantly, we want to read about your 2011 turkey season!  Send us your turkey hunting traditions, stories, videos and pictures to for the First Lite Turkey Tales coming at the end of the season.  We'll be posting them right here at the Campfire.  I know the First Lite boys will be out and about, hopefully bagging some monsters in the near future.  We'll be quick to share our own tales just as soon as we do.  Word in the office is that hunts are planned for Idaho, California, Washington and maybe more.
